About the Artist:
Scot Hampton Nichols
With a career defined by the enduring beauty of natural stone and a life shaped by a journey across the globe, Scot Hampton Nichols brings a unique perspective to the world of fine art.
Born on the island of Guam, Scot’s path eventually led him through the vibrant cultural hubs of New York, Philadelphia, and Tampa, before he finally found a permanent home in the stunning landscapes of Spanish Fork, Utah.
His professional background is rooted deeply in the stone industry, where he has spent years mastering the technical specifications and aesthetic nuances of quartz, marble, and granite. This expertise in raw, natural materials informs his appreciation for the textures and permanence found within the collection at Nichols Fine Art.
Beyond the gallery, Scot’s greatest pride is his family. He has been happily married to his wife, Angela, for 26 years, and together they are the proud parents of three children: Ella, Magnus, and Keaton.
At Nichols Fine Art, Scot combines a lifetime of travel and industry expertise with a passion for curation, helping collectors find pieces that-much like the stone he knows so well- stand the test of time.
